Recombinant human chorionic gonadotropin — a heterodimeric glycoprotein hormone that activates the LH/CG receptor. Supplied lyophilized for in-vitro reproductive-axis research.
Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is a heterodimeric glycoprotein composed of an α-subunit (shared with LH, FSH, and TSH) and a unique β-subunit. It binds the LH/CG receptor on Leydig and granulosa cells with high affinity, driving steroidogenesis pathways.
Each vial is lyophilized and shipped cold-chain at −20 °C from our Kelowna facility. Reconstitute with sterile water or bacteriostatic water for in-vitro receptor studies.
LH/CG-receptor binding affinity assays, Leydig-cell testosterone-secretion screens, granulosa-cell aromatase induction, and comparative gonadotropin pharmacology versus LH and recombinant FSH.
Sold for laboratory research only. This material is not a drug, food, or cosmetic and is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or recreational use.

Allow vial to reach room temperature before opening (≥ 20 minutes). Reconstitute with 1.0–2.5 mL of sterile bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol). Inject solvent slowly down the inner wall of the vial; do not direct stream onto the lyophilized cake.
Swirl gently for 30 seconds. Do not vortex. Allow to dissolve for 5 minutes; clarity should be complete with no visible particulates.
Reconstituted solution is stable for 28 days at 2–8 °C in original vial. For longer storage, aliquot into low-binding tubes and hold at −80 °C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Discard if turbidity, color change, or particulate matter is observed.
